The Voyagers Group of companies are the culmination of a century of family entrepreneurship within Zambia. Companies such as Jerrards Pty, Zamair, Polyvinyl, Robmar and HJ Smart are part of a rich history of hard work, value delivery and ethical business centred in Ndola. The current generation of companies commenced with Voyagers Zambia Limited in 1987, followed by Voyagers Rentals Limited in 1993 and lastly Afinbro Limited – trading as African Insurance Brokers (AIB) in 2017.

Whilst not a formal group of companies, the entities all share common shareholders and directors who are all citizens or residents of Zambia. This group has allowed for a fusion of hard work, dedication to client service, endurance and collective endeavour. The directors comprise of individuals with many decades of experience in Zambian business having worked for entities such as First Quantum Minerals, Lonrho and Aon Corporation. Professionally diverse, the directors have amongst other qualifications, tertiary qualifications in accountancy, law, and insurance.

Working internationally through partnerships, franchise arrangements and alliances with brands such as Europcar and WTW, we have brought new ideas and focus to Zambia in those market sectors in which we participate. The group has an extensive network of offices including Lusaka, Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka, Ndola, Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport in Ndola, Kitwe, Livingstone, Chingola and Solwezi. We are proud to service business sectors ranging from mining, energy, construction, manufacturing, finance, telecommunications, IT, legal, accountancy, overseas governments and NGOs as well as residents of Zambia and individuals from all over the world visiting Zambia.

Our products include travel management services, car rental, roadside assistance, destination management services, holidays and insurance brokerage.

Our customers range from drilling and geologists in the exploration sector to underground and opencast mining. We provide car rental, insurance and travel services. In the early days of privatisation, we worked with Kafue Consortium growing with private sector involvement in the mines. As greenfield exploration proceeded, we worked with the likes of Kiwara Plc which was acquired by FQM and is now the Kalumbila cluster of mines. Other mining corporations that we've supported include Cyprus Amex, Anglo American, Phelps Dodge, BHP Billiton, Valé, Lumwana, Mopani, FQM and KCM.
